How to Play

- Swipe up/down/left/right on the board or use Arrow Keys / WASD - All tiles slide in the chosen direction until they hit a wall or another tile - When two tiles with the same number collide, they merge into one (2+2=4, 4+4=8, etc.) - A new tile (2 or 4) appears after each move - Reach the 2048 tile to win — or keep going for an even higher score - The game ends when no more moves are possible

Game Description

2048 Classic is the original and timeless number-merging puzzle game that took the world by storm. Slide numbered tiles on a 4x4 grid to combine matching values and reach the elusive 2048 tile. Simple to learn, maddeningly difficult to master — this is the definitive version of the game that started it all. The rules are elegantly simple. Swipe in any direction — up, down, left, or right — and all tiles on the board slide as far as they can in that direction. When two tiles with the same number collide, they merge into one tile with double the value. A 2 meets a 2 and becomes 4. A 4 meets a 4 and becomes 8. Each move also spawns a new tile (either 2 or 4) in a random empty cell, slowly filling the board and raising the stakes. Strategy is everything in 2048. Experienced players learn to keep their highest tile cornered, build chains of ascending values along the edges, and avoid scattering large tiles across the board. Every swipe must be deliberate.
