- Press and drag on a tile to start building a chain - Draw through adjacent same-value tiles (horizontal, vertical, or diagonal) - Release to merge the entire chain into one tile with combined value - Two tiles = double, three tiles = quadruple, four = 8x, and so on - Empty cells are filled with new random tiles after each merge - The grid is always full — look for the longest chains possible - Reach 2048 for the ultimate golden tile!
2048 Chain transforms the 2048 formula into a satisfying chain-drawing puzzle on a fully filled 6x6 grid. Instead of sliding or placing tiles, you draw lines connecting adjacent tiles of the same value to merge them all at once. The longer the chain, the bigger the merge — connect three 2s and they combine into a single 8, connect four and you get 16. Spotting and tracing the longest possible chains is the key to reaching 2048. The grid starts completely filled with numbered tiles (2, 4, 8, 16). Press on any tile and drag through adjacent tiles of the same value to form a chain. Tiles can connect horizontally, vertically, and even diagonally, giving you eight possible directions from any cell. A connecting line is drawn on screen as you trace your path, with chain tiles highlighted in green to show your selection. Release to trigger the merge. When you release, all tiles in the chain collapse into a single tile at the starting position.
