How to Play

- Tap the front chisel of a row on the bench to send it to the log - A chisel carves the outer layers of its own colour, counting their numbers down; when a layer reaches 0 it is gone and the layer under it shows - A chisel with nothing of its colour showing waits in one of the five slots; tap it to send it to the log once its colour comes to the surface - When the bench is empty, the waiting chisels go to the log on their own only if every one of them can carve right away with none left over

Game Description

Carve It Out is a cosy and colourful 3D carving puzzle set in a sunny little workshop. A chunky log of stacked, rainbow-coloured wood spins on a lathe, and a bench full of bright chisels waits for your touch. Tap a chisel and it flies to the spinning log, bites into the wood of its own colour and peels it away in long curling shavings, with chips flying, sawdust drifting and the warm sound of steel on wood. Ring after ring, tier after tier, the log is carved down until nothing is left. The trick is the order. Every chisel only cuts its own colour, and only the outside of the log can be reached, so the colour you need may still be hidden under another layer. A chisel with nothing to carve waits in one of the five slots on the bench, and when the slots fill up there is no room left to work. Pick the right chisel at the right moment, plan which colour comes off next, and watch the whole log melt away in a shower of chips.
